We believe the arts are for everyone. That means you don’t have to major in theatre or music to participate in the performing arts. Whether you want to be front-and-center of a performance or prefer to work behind the scenes, you’ll find an artistic outlet that’s right for you at UJ.

There are numerous benefits to participating in a performing group. You’ll develop your abilities as an artist or stage technician, and you’ll grow skills that impact careers outside of the arts, including:

Join Theatre

In addition to acting, you can contribute to the theatre as a stage manager, crew member, set builder, costume designer, prop manager, and lighting and sound technician. Advanced students may direct and design various productions. You can even write an original play for production!
