About the Libraries

The University of Jamestown has two libraries: Raugust Library in the center of our Jamestown campus and Zaruba Library in Fargo.

Raugust Library supports the on-campus and online undergraduate programs, the online graduate programs, and UJ Accelerated, while Zaruba Library supports the Doctor of Physical Therapy program. The libraries support the university’s curriculum and the research needs of students, faculty, and staff by providing access to research materials such as books and ebooks, journal articles, news and magazine articles, and media in many formats; collaborative and individual study spaces; research instruction in classroom and one-on-one settings; and so much more.

Mission

The mission of the University of Jamestown Libraries is to support the curricular and research activities of the UJ community. By advancing learner-centered services, resources, and spaces, we serve as a campus hub for academic excellence and future preparation.

Vision

UJ Libraries will strive to enhance the potential of each student to become a well-rounded person, living a life of integrity and dedicated to life-long learning and development of their own special gifts and talents.
