University of Jamestown’s very own Polly Peterson made it on the Prairie Business Magazine’s top 25 women in business list. “Women play a vital role in this region’s business community and we are proud to shine a light on some of the most inspirational and successful women in the region,” said Kris Bevill, editor of Prairie Business magazine. “We continue to be blown away by the depth of talent in our region and it was an extremely difficult task selecting just 25 women for this list. Our sincere congratulations go out to the selected recipients as well as all of the nominees.”

Honorees were selected through a nomination process that emphasized professional achievement and community contributions. In order to be eligible for the award, candidates must live and work in the Dakotas or western Minnesota and must not have received the award previously.

Polly received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Jamestown in 1989 with degrees in Accounting and Business Administration.
