Landon Uetz (SR/West Fargo, ND) was named to the 2017 CoSIDA Academic All-America® College Division Baseball Team first team, as chosen by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

“This is the highest honor a student-athlete can receive,” said Jimmie Athletic Director Sean Johnson, “Only 14 Jimmies have earned Academic All-America honors in the history of our program and Landon is just the fourth to do it twice.”

In 2014, Landon earned a spot on the second team, and this year he was named to the first team.

The 12-member first team from the Academic All-America® College Division baseball team has an average G.P.A. of 3.81, while the second team has an average G.P.A. of 3.79. The entire team boasts of an average G.P.A. of 3.80.

Landon earned his Bachelor of Arts from UJ in 2017, majoring in Business Administration and Exercise Science.
