Each campus project is an investment in the future of our student population, including attracting new students. Your support in a current project helps keep campus, as well as the community of Jamestown, thriving for years to come.

FOOTBALL & TRACK STADIUM RENOVATION

Renovations to Taylor Stadium, which will cost approximately $11.5 million, began October of 2020. The new stadium will be a true community project, hosting both Jimmie and Blue Jay games and meets.

The proposed renovation will include:
  • A new turf Football field
  • New press boxes, seating, paved parking, as well as a new concourse and lighting
  • A new 400m track
  • A new Track and Field throw area

THE HAROLD NEWMAN ARENA

In 2016, UJ broke ground on their $15-million, 61,000-sq.-ft. project: The Harold Newman Arena.

Today, the Arena is home to:

  • A full-sized basketball court
  • 8 locker rooms
  • A large booster room overlooking the court
  • A training facility
  • 2 small lounges
  • Two concessions areas, a ticket booth, and a retail store area
  • The Jimmie Athletic Hall of Fame

Your donation to the Harold Newman Arena will help with maintenance and upkeep, ensuring the arena is a state-of-the-facility for years to come—to be enjoyed by both athletes and fans alike.
