What is Tuition Assistance for Active Duty Military?
Tuition assistance is a unique and distinct form of financial aid available to eligible active duty Service members. TA benefits are considered by UJ to be a first payer, meaning that students will have their TA benefits applied to their account prior to the application of their Pell Grant funds to their account.
Applying for Tuition Assistance
Each service has its own Tuition Assistance application form and procedures. To find out how to get started, visit your local installation education center, go online to a virtual education center, or click on the following links for each service branch:
Your Educational Services Officer (ESO) or counselor within your branch of service must approve your military tuition assistance prior to enrolling in a course.
