Physical Therapy Admission

There are two avenues to be admitted into University of Jamestown Doctor of Physical Therapy Program.

  • Direct Entry: Applications submitted as a senior in high school or undergraduate at University of Jamestown, can be accepted to the Physical Therapy Program without applying through PTCAS (see below). The Physical Therapy Program will hold a position for the applicant, pending successful graduation from the University of Jamestown.
  • Application through the Physical Therapist Centralized Application Service.

Interviews will take place on scheduled dates in November and February. Offers will be made to qualified applicants beginning in November. After review of the application, a student may be accepted, rejected, or a decision may be deferred to the spring. It is to your advantage to apply early. After interviews in February, UJPT will continue to evaluate completed applications and admit qualified students until all seats in our incoming class are filled.

UJPT has a rolling admissions process. Please refer to PTCAS for official application deadlines. Applications will be processed as they are submitted and verified by PTCAS. The application deadline for November interviews is in early October, and the application deadline for February interviews is in early January.

All required documents must be uploaded into PTCAS for processing; do not mail documents to the Program. Incomplete and/or unverified applications are not accepted.
