Digital Design

  • Minor

Add visual communication skills to your major.

Complement your primary field of study with creative and technical skills you can apply to presentations, websites, promotional materials, and digital content.

The Digital Design minor introduces design fundamentals, vector graphics, typography, graphics development, marketing, and web development. Through practical projects using Adobe Creative Suite software, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and more, you’ll learn to organize information, combine text and imagery, and create purposeful visual communication.

You’ll also explore how AI tools can support brainstorming and creative experimentation while applying your own judgment to the quality, originality, and suitability of the results.

Elective options offer opportunities to explore photography, advertising, or digital audio and video. Whether your interests are in communication, business, technology, or another field, the minor helps you understand your audience and bring ideas to life.

Tuition and Financial Aid

We believe every student, regardless of their financial situation, should have access to a UJ education. 100% of our full-time undergraduate students have some type of financial aid, with scholarship packages starting at $8,000 minimum. Your counselor for admissions personally walks you through financial aid, including the process of filing a FAFSA, maximizing your eligibility for aid, and answering any questions you may have along the way.
