Seth Stone is an Associate Professor of Leadership and the Doctoral Project Coordinator at the University of Jamestown in Jamestown, ND. His corporate career began on Wall Street and extended into various nonprofit executive leadership roles, spanning more than 20 years. He has also consulted with a range of organizations on leadership development and the design of healthy, high-performing cultures.
In addition to his executive work, Stone has spent 16 years in higher education, the last 11 as a faculty member. He has authored numerous research articles and book chapters. His scholarly interests include leadership styles, the intersection of cognitive science and leadership, character in leadership, and toxic leadership.
He holds a Doctor of Strategic Leadership and an MBA from Regent University, as well as a B.S. in Management & Business from Skidmore College. Stone is currently completing an MSc in Applied Neuroscience at King’s College London in its Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology, and Neuroscience (IoPPN). He is also a Certified Professional Coach and a Senior Certified HR Professional through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
