Jasper Schneider(’01) Named GM at NMPA

Jasper Schneider is the new general manager of the Northern Municipal Power Agency.

A Fargo native, Schneider graduated from UJ in 2001 majoring in Criminal Justice, and later from the Hamline University School of Law.

Schneider comes to NMPA from the National Information Solutions Cooperative (NISC), where he served as a vice president since 2015. Before that, Schneider was acting administrator of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Rural Utilities Service.

Schneider was a member of the North Dakota House of Representatives from 2006-09. He also spent time as North Dakota rural development state director for the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

He and wife have four children.
