Emergency Operations Plan
The University of Jamestown Emergency Operations Plan provides a comprehensive framework for university-wide emergency management. This plan addresses the various roles and responsibilities of various business units and departments within the University. In addition, this plan ensures consistency with current University policy and describes the relationship with other levels of government, including state and local government.
Emergency Notification System
In the event of an emergency call 911.
The university partners with Regroup Mass Notification for our emergency notification system. All students, faculty, and staff are opted into the notification system. In the event of an emergency, the university will notify those who are in the system of important information related to the emergency and how they can keep themselves safe. This includes timely warnings for Clery Act crimes. These alerts can be sent by text message/sms, UJ email, phone, or mobile apps.
If you wish to change or update your number used for the emergency notification system, please contact Public Safety.
