*Drive-Through Check-Ins* – UJ Main Entrance
MANDATORY for students who live on campus. Located on the west side of campus along 5th Ave NE. This is your welcome to the University of Jamestown! Pick up your welcome packet, check in to your residence hall, get your mailbox key, and more!
NOTE: Commuter students (students who live off campus) do not need to go through this process and can pick up this information later this afternoon.

Jimmie Move-In Crew – Kroeze, Seibold, Watson and Wilson Residence Halls
The Jimmie Move-In Crews, comprised of our Welcome Weekend leaders and some of our UJ Athletics teams, will be stationed at our first-year residence halls to assist you with moving in. Look for the bright orange shirts! Just give them your room number and a bit of direction and they will help get your things unloaded in no time.

Lofts Available – Kroeze Hall Loading Dock
If you pre-registered for a loft, your loft should be delivered to your room before move-in. If you get to your room and change your mind about wanting a loft, you can pick one up and sign your contract on-site.

Our Campus Partners (Business Office, Financial Aid, Admissions, Registrar, Informational Technology and Alumni) will be out of their offices welcoming our new students to campus. Offices will open again at 1:00pm.

Knight Hall Dining Center can be found inside Badal-Nafus. Students-this meal is covered by your meal plan; just show your ID card at the start of the line. Students without a meal plan, parents, family, and friends of our students-this meal is $12.19+ tax and can be paid for at the front desk of Knight Hall.

This is only required for students who do not live on campus and early arrival athletes. You will need to stop at this desk to pick up your Welcome Weekend folder and get your Student ID.

This is MANDATORY for students living in these residence halls. Come to meet your Resident Director (RD), your Resident Assistant (RA), and the other students living in your hall!
3:00pm-3:45pm *Welcome Weekend Kick-Off * – Denault Auditorium, Reiland Fine Arts Center
This is the kick-off event for all students who are new to UJ. Celebrate the official beginning of your experience at UJ, hear about the Welcome Weekend schedule, and meet your UJ Foundations small group.

Meet your UJ Foundations small group, get to know one another, ask questions, and go over the schedule for the remainder of Welcome Weekend.

Supper – Allen Field
Grab your cookout supper from the dining hall and continue to get to know your small group as you eat together on the lawn. Grab any personal items you may need and get ready to head out of town! Students-this meal is covered by your meal plan; just show your ID card at the start of the line. If you do not have a meal plan you can utilize a guest pass, just ask your Group Leader!

Load Buses for VCSU Paint Bucket Football Game – Allen Field
Join your group for a short bus ride to our rival competitor VCSU to watch the 76th annual Paint Bucket Football game. Your admission fee will be covered, but feel free to bring money for concessions at the game.

76th Annual VCSU Paint Bucket Football Game – Lokken Stadium @ VCSU
Together with friends, staff, faculty, and alumni we will travel to VCSU to cheer on our Jimmie football team as they compete to win the 76th annual Paint Bucket game. Kickoff is at 7pm. Every year this game rotates from being hosted at UJ or VCSU and it is our year to travel. We will re-load buses after the conclusion of the game to return to UJ.

College is a major life change, which can be both an exciting and stressful time. Since stress directly affects our mental and physical health, a student’s quality of life depends on how they handle the stress they encounter. Stressed AF is a presentation that provides the necessary tools to identify and combat stress in order to learn to live happily with stress.

We would like to invite all students who do not live on campus to join us for a student social. Brunch-style treats will be provided.

If you would like to join an instrumental ensemble, then you need to meet with and play for the band director. If you have already auditioned, you may not need to play again, but you still need to meet with them. Sign-up on the schedules posted on the band room door – Reiland 157.

Stop by the lounges in ALL of these residence halls for some snacks, crafts, fun, and games. Each lounge will have something different, so make sure to get out and explore!
