Eric Olson(’81): Power of the Journey
The Jimmies are alive in Southwest New Mexico!
Eric Olson is in his 7th year at Bataan Elementary in Deming, NM as a Special Education teacher.
“Our motto for 2016-17 was ‘The Power of the Journey’.” says Mr. Olson, “This year our classroom adopted the University of Jamestown. We feel, as the University of Jamestown does, it is not the destination we strive for but the special moments that happen along the way.”
Originally from Jamestown, Mr. Olson holds Masters Degrees in Special Education from New Mexico State University, and Elementary Administration from North Dakota State University.
Eric graduated from UJ in 1981 with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education.
