I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities I’ve had here and the support from faculty. This program gave me the tools I needed to excel, and I feel like I’ve come out ahead of graduates from many other programs.
The Exercise Science program equips students with the knowledge and skills to excel in a variety of careers, including exercise physiology, sport science, physical therapy, and more. Whether you’re passionate about helping others achieve their fitness goals, rehabilitate from injuries, or optimize athletic performance, this program provides the foundation for success.
The University of Jamestown’s Exercise Science program emphasizes preparation for industry-recognized certifications, such as the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) credential offered by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). The CSCS certification is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA), ensuring it meets rigorous standards for professional excellence.
Additionally, the program aligns with the standards set by the Council on Accreditation of Strength and Conditioning Education (CASCE), which is dedicated to advancing the strength and conditioning profession through collegiate-level program accreditation.
