University of Jamestown provides a strong background for students pursuing further study in occupational therapy.

These students often select a major in biology or exercise physiology. A major in another area may be satisfactory as long as the necessary pre-requisites are chosen in consultation with one’s academic advisor. In addition to specific science courses, a background in psychology is recommended.
