Two Students Awarded Conservation Scholarships

AJ Headley and Antonio Ruiz

Senior AJ Hedley and junior Antonio Ruiz were recently awarded The Stutsman County Wildlife Federation (SCWF) Arnie Swanson Conservation Scholarships. The SCWF scholarship program encourages young people to pursue careers in fish and wildlife management and conservation of natural resources. These career opportunities include jobs in wildlife law enforcement, fisheries management, wildlife management, nongame specialists, wildlife conservation, natural resources and various related fields.

The SCWF awards two $500 scholarships to North Dakota resident students pursuing college education in natural resource-related fields. We are proud that BOTH of the 2020 scholarships were awarded to UJ Wildlife Society students. Congrats AJ and Antonio!
