Recovering from midterms – Sir Jimmie

Ye did it! Ye battled exams, papers, sleepless nights. And here ye are. The week after midterms. If fall break failed to regenerate ye, heed a few of my helpful tips:

Give thyself a fresh start

Ye need not wait for a new semester to start fresh. Post-midterms are a knight’s ideal time to re-evaluate how and when ye get work done. If this is ye final year at our fair kingdom, now is not the time to let the -itis of seniors overcome ye. Stay motivated and ever prepared for battle!

Fuel ye body

Ye armor cannot protect ye from late-night munchies that accompany late-night studying. Bid farewell to feasting on pastries. Keep ye body and brain fueled with healthy alternatives. Dare I suggest a salad of sorts?

Master a good sleep rhythm

Midterms can come with many a sleepless night. Enter back into a reliable sleep pattern by retiring to ye bedchamber at the same hour every night, and trying to do something relaxing – like reading a tale – before ye lie down to rest.

Submit to the power of coffee

If all else fails, our castle’s trusty JavaHut is ready with some liquid sleep to help its noble guests through the day. Never fear, ye will return to thy normal knight-self soon!
