Campus Construction Update

There are a number of construction projects happening on campus over the summer that will help improve the university’s facilities and expand the opportunities and offerings available to our current students. Look for the following changes the next time you come to visit:

  1. The first floor of Raugust Library will now be the home of the new Student Success Center. Students will have access to tutoring, academic advising, career services, and more, all in one central location.
  2. Our varsity weight room in the Larson Center is being renovated to include additional space, a new floor, and new equipment.
  3. Overhead lights are being installed on the turf field to allow our students additional use for practice and intramurals, as well as allow us to host home soccer games later into the evening.
  4. A new entrance sign is being constructed on the East entrance of campus to mirror our West entrance and welcome visitors to campus.
  5. A student recreation center is being added to the basement of the Hansen Center.
  6. We will be starting construction of an addition to the Sorkness Center that will house the senior lab for our mechanical engineering students.
