SIR JIMMIE BLOG
From a whim to a win – Jamie Czapiewski

I’ll be honest, I chose University of Jamestown on a total whim. I didn’t really know what I wanted to do with my life. I still mostly don’t know…but at least I’m making progress now!

Along for the ride

A lot of the time, I say that I’m just along for the ride on my own life, and that’s not a joke. I can be super impulsive on some decisions, but many of those decisions end up leading to some great things.

What I’m thankful for

My experience here at UJ has had some ups and downs, but I choose to at least try to focus on the more positive moments. Some of those moments have involved all the great organizations and activities that I’m proud to be a part of on campus. I try to get out there the best that I can, and through things like choir, theatre, the Jimmie Janes, the Collegian, and countless other experiences, I’ve really been able to expand my horizons and I will be forever thankful for that.

I sometimes wonder what my life would be like if I had gone to a different school, and honestly, I don’t think it would have been as good it is now.
