UJ Recognized as Business of the Month

Members of the Chamber Young Professionals of Jamestown and the Ambassadors recently presented a Business of the Month Award to the University of Jamestown.

As their nomination letter explains, “U of J deserves the Business of the Month Award because they consistently fulfill the requirements of the award and go way beyond. The most recent example of this is the University’s initiative to start an entrepreneurship center in Jamestown. The University has committed essential resources to take the lead on making the center a reality and has rallied other public and private entities towards a shared vision of building an entrepreneurial culture in our community. Although the results of the project may not be fully realized for many months, this type of leadership from local businesses is exactly what our community needs to be successful and vibrant in the future!”

Dr. Robert Badal, President, accepted the award on behalf of his staff, many of whom were present for this presentation.

The Chamber Young Professionals of Jamestown honor businesses that provide superior customer service, exhibit community spirit and provide a positive economic impact to the community.
