2017 UJ Relay for Life – Sir Jimmie

Knights unite! On the evening of February 11th, our campus community (students, faculty and staff) shall join forces in the battle against cancer.

Leave thy swords and shields at home.

Instead, prepare thyself for a long journey of walking in the annual UJ Relay for Life in the Larson Sports Center!

How Relay for Life works

Gather ye friends to form thy trusty team. Teams, as well as individuals, shall take turns walking around the track. Because cancer never stops – and neither do knights in battle!

The relay will run from 1 p.m. to 1 a.m. The goal for this battle is one I know ye can help us achieve: we shall aim to raise $2,000, up from last year’s mark of $1,400.

Food, games, prizes, and various activities will be available to participate in as we celebrate those who won their fight, and remember those we have lost.

The theme

Cinema fans rejoice! The theme for the relay this year is movies. Ye are encouraged to dress up as movie characters, or give ye team booth a movie theme!
