Here’s what you can expect:
A three-day jammed packed Welcome Weekend where we teach you everything you need to know about University of Jamestown: campus tours, one-on-one time with your academic advisor, residence life activities, and SO MUCH MORE! Plus UJ Foundations starts here!
A Community Block Party where over 70 community organizations, churches, and non-profits participate. As a college student, learn about the community, meet Jamestown residents and become familiar with the businesses, service organizations and churches in the area.
A UJ Foundations Class (or first year experience) is planned and scheduled specifically for you. This is the first step in your Journey at University of Jamestown. We encourage you to look inward.
A peer mentor is assigned to work one-on-one with you. This mentor assists with your journey 101 class and assists you with all your needs (keep in mind—they have been in your shoes).
An academic advisor is assigned to work one-on-one with you and guide you through your schedule, classes, and so much more!
