Dr. John Weinzierl was born in Wisconsin and did his graduate work at Florida State University. He has taught History in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Florida, Arkansas, and now North Dakota! He was excited about returning to the Midwest and being closer to family.

Beyond Europe, Weinzierl has teaching interests in the Middle East, the History of War, the History of Medicine, and the History of Terrorism.
