Dustin Jensen (’02) returned to UJ in January of 2018 where he serves as the Dean of Student Engagement & Student Affairs. In this role, Dustin oversees the Student Life department including student activities, residence life, intramural and club sports, food service, campus safety and more. The Student Life department, under Dustin’s leadership, will focus on fostering a healthy, safe and inclusive campus where students can maximize their personal potential while pursuing their educational dreams.
Prior to returning to the University, Dustin served as the Managing Director of Operations/Chief Operating Officer of the Colorado Golf Association (2015-2017) where he was responsible for the day-to-day oversight of core operational functions of the association as well as managing the competitions, handicapping, junior golf, and course rating departments. While at the CGA Dustin oversaw the development and launch of the Junior Golf Alliance of Colorado including initial concepts, goals, budgets, branding, logo, website and the Player Development Pathway. The JGAC is a collaborative effort which streamlined the junior golf landscape for kids, parents, coaches and other key stakeholders by integrating programs of the CGA, Colorado Section of the PGA and the Colorado Women’s Golf Association. Additionally, Dustin co-created the business plan and organizational structure for the acquisition of another golf related non-profit association and managed the integration of the two entities.
During his tenure at Jamestown (2011-2014), Dustin served as the Executive Director of the Jimmie Booster Club and the Director of Alumni Relations. Dustin also served as the head men’s and women’s golf coach from 2012 to 2015 and on an interim basis in 2017.

Prior to returning to Jamestown, Dustin served as the Director of Youth Programs (2004-2011), Assistant Director of Rules and Competitions (2002-2004) and was a summer intern (2001) for the Colorado Golf Association.

A Jamestown, North Dakota native and University of Jamestown graduate, Jensen was a member of the men’s golf and track & field teams while earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Economics with a minor in Information Technology in 2002.
