Use Books To:

  • Conduct academic research

  • Support & Defend your projects/papers

  • Find information – data, theories, opinions, etc.

From our homepage you can search for books in the UJ collection by using the ODIN search bar (also available here). The default setting searches for all information about the book; however, using the drop down you can also search for books by title, author, or subject.

Library Catalog

When searching for books in the University of Jamestown collection, make sure to set the search to the first tab called “Raugust Library Catalog.” You may enter any term in to the search. For a more detailed search, click on “Advanced Search,” this options allows you to create a more specific search by using limiters and allowing for multiple keywords.

Browse

Using the Browse Search allows you to explore books and other items that are similarly grouped. With Browse you can select the drop-down list to search for items by subject, author, title, and call number. This search option is especially helpful when you have found an item and would like to find others that are related.
