Job Description Summary:

The primary focus of this position is to market, recruit, and manage the current, prospective student and school district/education organization relationships from the prospect stage through the enrollment stage for the Master of Education (MED) Graduate program for the University of Jamestown. This position will also provide program support and development in coordination with the Program Director. This position requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, take initiative to identify opportunities and solutions, and be able to set and meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills with attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and work well in a team environment. This is a 12-month, part-time position located in Jamestown.

Job Duties

  • Serve as the primary contact for all prospective students for the MED Graduate program
  • Provide proactive and efficient follow up with prospect/school district/education organization contacts
  • Counsel students on academic program offerings, admission requirements, and financial resources
  • Develop relationships with prospective students, school district/education organization contacts, and program staff to facilitate a seamless recruitment and admissions process
  • Manage the MED prospective database by utilizing the CRM software to communicate with prospective students and corporate contacts
  • Create and facilitate the MED graduate communication flow
  • Meet benchmarks and goals set forth by the Administration
  • Report evidence of progress and results to Administrators
  • In collaboration with the Program Director and VP of Enrollment, assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures that enhance program success
  • Serve as a liaison with student services, financial aid, and other campus departments
  • Administration:
  • Support the Program Director in the coordination of program development
  • Facilitate successfully the entire life cycle of our MED graduate students from orientation to graduation. This includes: Orientation, Satisfactory Academic Progress Review, Program Advising, Retention efforts, Graduation
  • Organize and facilitate MED events for current/prospective students and school district/education organization partners
  • Research higher education trends relating to the program to stay relevant
  • Manage all aspects of data management for varied events, evaluative processes, and communication timelines for internal and external constituents
  • Work with the Program Director to facilitate the MED budget
  • Manage a successful marketing plan in coordination with the Program Director, Vice President of Enrollment and Vice President of Marketing
  • Assure program alignment to Teacher Education Department strategic goals and accreditation requirements
  • All other duties as assigned
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate in business, education, or liberal arts program, or equivalent
  • One to three years of relevant experience
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a diverse work environment
  • Ability to be attentive to details, be accurate, be precise
  • Ability to work independently, as well as effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to reason/analyze; maintain confidentiality; and demonstrate patience, understanding
  • Ability to show initiative; organize workflow; manage one or more projects
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters degree
  • Working knowledge of Education Standards and Practices Board (ESPB) rules and guidelines and InTASC Model Core Teaching Standards and Learning Progressions
  • Professional experience with Pk-12 education system
