The University of Jamestown’s Department of Athletics is currently accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant Coach position with its Men’s and Women’s Golf programs for the 2019-20 and 2020-21 academic years. The successful candidate will report to the Head Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach and will assist with various administrative and coaching aspects of the program, including but not limited to: coaching, recruiting, and fundraising. This is a 10-month assistantship with a start date of August 1st.

Bachelor’s degree and acceptance into a graduate program is required. The preferred candidate should have competed as a collegiate golf student-athlete or have an intimate knowledge of the game. Additional requirements include strong communication, organizational, and supervisory skills, the ability to work well in a team environment, and the capacity to model mature, responsible leadership. The candidate must be willing to work weekends and holidays and travel with the team to competitions. Applicants must submit to a criminal background check, subject to review and approval by The University of Jamestown.

Compensation Information: Full tuition, housing and the Block 150 Meal Plan (150 meals + $225 Jimmie Bucks per semester) are covered with UJ’s Graduate Assistant Program.
