Basic Troubleshooting

Before submitting a trouble ticket or coming to the Helpdesk please try the following troubleshooting techniques:

  1. Restart your computer
  2. Make sure all power cables, video cables, and USB cables are firmly plugged into the computer.
  3. Be able to tell us what application you are using, what you were doing, and exactly what happened.
  4. Document any error message you receive and do an internet search for the message.
  5. Review our FAQ section or ask a friend.

If you are still unable to solve the problem, fill out a trouble ticket or stop by the Helpdesk during business hours.
