Add/Drop

The last day to make changes to your schedule is 10 working days into the semester. If you are adding or dropping an 8-weeks class, you have 5 working days to make changes.

Ordering Transcripts

The official University of Jamestown transcript includes both the undergraduate and graduate record. All transcripts come in individually sealed envelopes, unless otherwise specified. Transcript requests are not processed if the student has an outstanding obligation, financial or otherwise. We cannot accept phone, e-mail or faxed requests.

There are three ways to order an official transcript from University of Jamestown:

Option 1: Order Transcripts Online

For the fastest service, University of Jamestown has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide transcript ordering via the Web. You can order transcripts with this service using any major credit card.


Order updates will be emailed to you to notify you when we have received and processed your order. You can also check order status or history online. Your card will only be charged after your order has been completed.

Option 2: Use the Transcript Request Order Form

If you do not have a credit card, or if you want to pick up your transcript from the Registrar’s office, you can use the Transcript Request Form to place your order. We must receive a signed request in order to release a transcript. The Transcript Request Form can be mailed to The Registrar’s office.


Option 3: Send a Letter

If you do not have a credit card or access to a printer, you may write a letter and mail or fax it to the Registrar’s office. In your letter, please include the following information:

  • Your first and last name (include maiden name, if applicable)
  • SSN
  • Daytime phone number
  • E-mail address
  • Approximate dates of attendance
  • Number of transcripts requested
  • Names and complete addresses for all recipients
  • Student’s handwritten signature
  • Method of payment – check or cash – $5 per copy


Payment Information For Options 2 or 3

If you are not placing your order online, you can pay for your transcript order with check, cash or money order. We do not accept credit cards. Checks and money orders should be made payable to University of Jamestown. We do not send bills for transcript orders.
