Faculty Positions

    The University of Jamestown is seeking adjunct professors with expertise in the following disciplines:

    The potential exists for teaching courses both in person and online, depending on the course, and a high level of teaching quality is expected in both delivery methods. All adjunct faculty members must have a master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline in which they are teaching to teach at the undergraduate level and an earned doctorate to teach at the graduate level.

Staff Positions

    The University of Jamestown is currently accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant position with its campus ministries for the 2019-20 and 2020-21 academic years. The successful candidate will report to the Chaplain and will assist with various administrative and spiritual formation aspects of the program. This is a 10-month assistantship with a start date of August 1st.


    Bachelor’s degree and acceptance into a graduate program is required. The preferred candidate should have had active involvement in campus ministries. Additional requirements include strong communication, organizational, and supervisory skills, the ability to work well in a team environment, and the capacity to model mature, responsible leadership. The candidate must be willing to work weekends and holidays and travel as necessary. Applicants must submit to a criminal background check, subject to review and approval by The University of Jamestown.


    Compensation Information

    Full tuition, housing and the Block 150 Meal Plan (150 meals + 5 Jimmie Bucks per semester) are covered with this UJ Graduate Assistant position.
