Nursing students named to Honor Society

The University of Jamestown Department of Nursing announces 12 senior students were recently inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International nursing honor society and the Xi-Kappa Chapter-at-Large.

The students are Caitlyn Arnold, Esmond, N.D.; Katie Bjertness, Kindred, N.D.; Amy Buxa, Harvey, N.D.; Kayla Byle, Kalispell, Mont.; Miranda Charley, North Branch, Minn.; Jessica Kope, De Pere, Wis.; Kalai Lundquist, Gardner, N.D.; Abigail Nill, Jamestown; Kelsey Smith, Amenia, N.D.; Whitney Streifel, West Fargo, N.D.; Jacqueline Thomas, Pingree, N.D.; and Melony Triebold, Valley City, N.D.

Sigma Theta Tau International is a prestigious organization of nurse leaders, scholars and researchers. Membership in the society is awarded to bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral nursing candidates who achieve scholastic averages and to graduates of nursing programs who have made outstanding contributions to nursing.
