Jamestown College students plan Relay for Life

Jamestown College students have raised more than $1,000 for the American Cancer Society while preparing for Relay for Life on Friday, April 12. The event runs from 7 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday at Wilson Arena.

“I truly believe that Relay for Life makes a huge difference, and I want to reach out to students and let them know that they can make a difference too,” says event co-chair Emma Bellmore. “It will be night filled with fun, food, and many activities.”

The public is welcome to attend the relay at any time during the night. Admission is $5.

The Jamestown College Relay for Life, which is being held this Friday and Saturday, April 12 and 13, at Wilson Arena is a different American Cancer Society Relay event than the Stutsman County Relay for Life, which is scheduled for June 8 and 9 on the Jamestown College campus.
