University of Jamestown Spanish Distinctions
The Department of Foreign Language at University of Jamestown offers a bachelor of arts degree in Spanish which combines on-campus coursework and advanced language study through the MLSA (Modern Language Studies Abroad) program at the University of Costa Rica in San Jose or in Madrid, Spain. As a Spanish major at University of Jamestown, you will benefit from:

Alpha Mu Gamma is the national collegiate foreign language honor society. To be eligible for membership, students must have received grades of A in at least two semester courses in the same foreign language at the college level. Alpha Mu Gamma offers summer language scholarships for study abroad.
The International Student Organization offers a chance to experience and learn about other people, cultures, and world affairs. Periodically, departments do employ adjunct faculty when full-time faculty do not have time within their schedules to teach all courses which the university wishes to be taught. Additionally, sometimes there is a community member or member of the staff at the University of Jamestown that holds a skill or has had education which makes it possible to teach a course which cannot otherwise be taught by regular full-time faculty. This list does change semester-to-semester.
